Introduction

In desolation, here can come life. Such is the case with Bushara. As one world came to an end, and Death snuffed the last star, leaving reality in a void of silence and darkness, a new beginning sparked.
A single mote of light, of life, came into being. This light was Lumos. He was kind and just, wanting nothing but greatness for the world he planned to build. He immediately set to work crafting his world. A paradise bathed in light. Unfortunately, where there is light, there are shadows. As soon as the light of Lumos first shined in the darkness, it cast a shadow. This shadow was Umbra. She was a cruel, depraved beast with a hunger to snuff out the light of Lumos.
These two Deities immediately entered a fierce battle that lasted for untold eons, but alas, they were a perfect match for each other. Eventually, Death himself decided to step in. He told the gods that they were complete and total matches for each other, so this method of combat would be an eternal stalemate. Death proposed an idea, there would be an agreement. For one trillion years, they would build their armies in peace, and then the battle would continue. Lumos and Umbra agreed to these terms and set out to build their worlds.
Lumos created the Celestial realm, a plane of reality full of light and goodness, and populated it with Angels, divine beings that sought only to make reality better.
Umbra created the Abyss, a chaotic hellscape full of nothing but pain and misery, and populated it with Demons, twisted monsters fueled by the agony of others.
Lumos also created four divine generals to lead his army. These were the gods of the seasons. Golenn, the eldest, was a stern but caring man that created the forge, then perfected its craft. Next was Flora, a kind and loving woman that created plant life. Next was Igna, a hot-tempered woman that was bred for war. lastly was Koris, the youngest, a thoughtful man that preferred knowledge to warfare. These four were each given their own realm to command.
Golenn was gifted the Elemental plane of Earth, a vast mountain range full of rich minerals, inhabited by Earth Elementals.
Flora was gifted the Elemental plane of Water, an endless ocean teeming with beautiful plants being tended to by the Water Elementals.
Igna was gifted the Elemental plane of Fire, a flaming battleground with an endless supply of Fire Elemental warriors.
Lastly, Koris was gifted the Elemental plane of Air, an infinite sky with massive floating libraries kept up by the inquisitive Air Elementals.
Lastly, Death had another idea. Take concepts from each elemental plane and create a new world, populated with beings created by the four generals.
This world would be a neutral ground where the inhabitants chose their own paths. This was Bushara. Then came populating this world.
Golenn, favoring the mountains and subterraneous areas, created the Dwarves. Flora, wanting her creations to respect and love nature, created the Elves. Igna, wanting the greatest warriors in Bushara, created the Orcs. Last came Koris, who wanted his creations to value knowledge above all else, created humanity.
Thus, Bushara was populated by it’s four creators. Golenn, the Warden of Winters. Flora, the Matron of Spring. Igna, the Guardian of Summer. And Koris, the Scribe of Autumn.
