Korra vs Rey
We open on a mountaintop. Rey is meditating
Rey: I am one with the Force and the Force is with me. I am one with the Force and -ah!
Rey Suddenly senses something. There’s a presence nearby that feels unnatural, like there’s multiple people in the same body. We then pan over to Korra. She’s looking around and holding a map.
Korra: oh Come on! Tenzin said the abandoned Airbender Temple would be somewhere on this mountain!
Rey watches Korra from behind a tree.
Rey: That girl. There’s something strange about her.
Rey uses the Force to lift a fallen branch and hurls it at Korra. Korra instinctively stomps the ground, bending a slab of stone upward and blocking the branch.
Rey: I knew it! She must be some sort of Jedi.
Rey steps out from behind the tree. Korra turns towards the unknown attacker
Korra: You picked the wrong day to mess with the Avatar! I have a LOT of pent-up stress to work out!
Rey looks confused
Rey: Ava-what?
Korra kicks the stone slab, sending it flying towards Rey. Rey uses the Force to catch it and send it flying back. Korra redirects the slab into the ground. She uses the slab as a ramp and jumps up into the air, sending a blast of fire at Rey. Rey uses the Force to block the fire and holds out her hand.
Korra: Are you surrendering? Because if so, you’re doing it wrong.
Suddenly, Rey’s Light Saber flies into her hand. She ignites the yellow blade and charges forward
Rey swings her lightsaber at Korra, who dodges. Korra earthbends a giant pillar and leaps atop it, looking down at Rey.
Korra: Alright, put the weird glowstick down and I’ll consider going easy on you.
Rey scoffs
Rey: as if
She slices through the base of the pillar, causing it to collapse. Korra falls towards Rey. Rey slashes at korra, who quickly creates a flame dagger to block the lightsaber
Korra: You’re not the only one who can do that.
Rey: Yeah? Well can you do this?
Rey grabs Korra with the Force and hurls her through the forest. Korra bounces of rocks and blows through trees, eventually landing in a small creek.
Korra: Alright, I need a little wisdom.
Korra then creates a small dome of earth around herself and begins meditating. Rey arrives in the creek, and starts cutting into the dome.
Korra communes with the previous Avatars. The spiritual visage of Aang sits before her
Korra: Aang, she’s much stronger than I gave her credit for. What should I do?
Aang: You must remember, most issues in life may be resolved through words, not violence.
Korra: Oh, yeah, sure. I’ll try that, but first let me get a second opinion.
Aang’s visage dissipates, being replaced by Kyoshi
Kyoshi: Drown her
Korra: Got it
Rey finally breaks through the dome, and Korra stands, bending the creek water upwards, using it to uppercut Rey and sending her stumbling back. Korra continues using the water to attack Rey, eventually causing a giant geyser to consume her.
Rey: I’ve had enough. STAND STILL!
Rey uses a mind trick and Korra stops moving. The water falls back into the creek and Rey is freed.
Rey: That’s more like it.
Rey dashes forward, going for a decapitation. Suddenly, Korra reaches up and grabs the Yellow blade. Rey is stunned. Korea lifts up her head, revealing the glowing white eyes of the Avatar State
Avatar State Korra conjures a ball of air in her hand and slams it into Rey, sending her flying backwards. As Rey gets back up, Korra speaks with the voice of a hundred Avatars
Korra: It’s no use. Surrender. You do not have the power to stand against The Avatar.
Rey: I wouldn’t say that. After all, I am all the Jedi.
Rey lifts several gigantic boulders out of the ground and hurls them at Korra. While Korra is deflecting the boulders, Rey throws her lightsaber, using the force to guide it right at Korra’s heart.
Korra turns at the last moment to see the lightsaber plunging at her heart. Korra focuses on the hilt and closes her hand, causing the lightsaber to collapse in on itself. The yellow blade dissipates as the metal shards fall to the ground.
Rey: No!
Rey can feel anger build inside her
Rey: You’ll pay for that!
Rey Reaches out her hand and a large bolt of force lightning springs forward, firing at Korra. Korra responds by bending out an gust of fire. The two beams meet mud air, and begin struggling against one another.
Rey strains, and the arching bolts of electricity begin to condense into a beam. The beam tears through Korra’s fire and strikes her in the chest. Korra reels back in pain, expecting to feel death overcome her, but instead, she feels another presence join her.
Rey stops firing the lightning and falls to the ground, catching her breath. She then looks up and gasps. She sees Korra, floating in the air. All the energy from the force blast emanating around her. A strange form appears around Korra, the form of Raava.
Korra looks down to Rey, and bends the energy back towards her, firing it in a beam flanked on all sides by Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. Rey tries to block with the Force, but it’s too late. The beam makes contact and Rey is obliterated. Leaving nothing but a smoking crater in her place.
Korra floats down to the ground and exits the Avatar State.
Korra: wow. That went a little further than I was expecting. Sorry about that.
Korra turns and leaves, still looking for that abandoned Air Nomad Temple.
The End
