Aragorn vs Jon Snow
We open on a snowy field. Two armies face against each other. One army, led by Aragorn, holds off as their commander steps forward. Aragorn yells out to Jon Snow, leader of the other army.
Aragorn: Jon Snow! This is your last chance. Return the one Ring to us, so that it can be destroyed.
Jon Snow steps forward and responds
Jon: We cannot do that. King’s landing has refused to aid us in our conflict with the white walkers, as has Gondor. If what you’ve said about the ring is true, then this is an opportunity to rid the world of the accursed undead.
Aragorn: I’m sorry to hear that. I was hoping we could find ourselves allied.
The two leaders return to their armies and prepare for battle.
Aragorn: CHARGE
Jon: FOR THE WATCH
the armies charge to each other. They clash in a tremendous wave of armor and bodies. Aragorn pulls out his bow and begins picking off enemy soldiers. Jon Snow unsheathes Longclaw and begins slashing through people. Eventually, Jon notices Aragorn shooting his men and begins making his way towards him.
Aragorn turns to shoot Jon, but he lunges forward and slices Aragorns bowstring. Jon raises his sword for a downward chop, but Aragorn quickly unsheathes Andúril and blocks the strike
Aragorn: The Ring will corrupt you and anyone else that comes into contact with it.
Jon: My will is strong enough to resist.
Aragorn: if you think that, then what they say is true. You know nothing Jon Snow.
Jon Headbutts Aragorn
Aragorn stumbles back, as Jon goes for another strike. Aragorn dodges, causing the attack to kill a random soldier behind him. Jon and Aragorn continue trading slashes and stabs.
While this happens, the people that died in the battle start getting back up. They’ve turned into white walkers. While Jon and Aragorn fight, one grabs Jon’s ankle. He quickly severs its hand and stomps its skull
Jon: Dammit! This is what I was talking about! A horde of these monsters are on their way to Winterfell. We need that ring to stop them.
Aragorn: I cannot allow that ring to fall into the wrong hands. If you were to fall while you had it, there’s nothing stopping one of those monsters from taking it.
Jon looks and sees a piece of rock that juts out over the battleground. He quickly runs over and climbs atop it. Aragorn attempts the follow, but Jon blocks his way.
Jon: I just want you to know, I didn’t want this.
Jon kicks Aragorn back, letting him fall into a group of white walkers. They grab Aragorn and start trying to pull him apart. Aragorn let’s out a yell, and a low rumbling is heard. Jon looks to the horizon. There’s a green shimmer in the distance, and it’s getting closer. Jon realizes what it is. An army if Ghosts. The wave of undead crashes into the army of white walkers.
As the ghostly horde washes over the White walkers army, Aragorn is freed from their grasp. He climbs up onto the rock. He draws his sword and stares down Jon
Aragorn: this is the last time I will ask. Hand over the ring or I will be forced to end your life.
Jon looks out over the battlefield, seeing everyone either dead, or a white walker. The armies of undead battle around the two.
Jon: I didn’t want this. Any of this. But I’ve gone too far to turn back now.
Aragorn: So be it.
The two begin dueling once again. Their slashes and stabs finally begin finding purchase. Arms are cut, sides gashed, the blood begins to pool at their feel
Jon Snow is able disarm Aragorn, causing Anduril to be flung off the rock. Jon raises Longclaw for one last Slash.
Jon: FOR THE WATCH
Aragorn dodges to the side, pulls out a dagger, and stabs Jon in the chest
Aragorn: For Middle Earth
Aragorn slashes across Jon’s wrist, severing his hand. Longclaw falls towards the ground, but Aragorn catches it and quickly swings across Jon’s throat, severing his head.
Aragorn: I’m sorry it came to this. You were a good man and an honorable warrior.
Aragorn stabs Longclaw into the ground, and drapes Jon’s Cloak across it. Aragorn looks out over the battlefield, finding the ghost army has exterminated the white walkers. Aragorn collects the one ring from the battlefield and leaves.
As Aragorn leaves, we pan over to Jon’s corpse, an in the distance, there’s a silhouette of a woman wearing red approaching.
The End
