Max Tennyson vs Ford Pines
We open with a shot of Mount Rushmore, Plumber Base. We zoom in and see a darkly lit hallway. A shrouded figure sneaks through the shadows, eventually entering a room with a small pistol type device floating in the middle. The figure removes his face covering, revealing Ford Pines.
Ford: finally, after all these years.
As he reaches for it, there’s the sound of a gun cooking behind him. It’s Max Tennyson, holding a plumber rifle.
Max: step away from the Null Void Projector.
Ford stands up, hands in the air and turns to face Max.
Ford: It’s been a while, Max.
Max: Stanford? What are you doing here? You rejected our efforts to recruit you to the Plumbers thirty years ago.
Ford: that’s because I can’t trust anyone. Especially not some government agency of alien hunters. I’m back because somethings coming. A triangular demon that wishes to burn our dimension to ashes. I need that projector so I can send him somewhere he can’t do that.
Max: if such a threat exists, the Plumbers have someone that can handle it. We can’t let rogue agents have a portal to the Null Void. That’s too much of a risk. Now, leave.
Ford: I was hoping it wouldn’t cone to this, Max. I really was.
Ford takes the laser rifle off his shoulder and Fires. Max Dodges and returns fire.
Max fires at Ford, who ducks behind the pedestal the Projector was on. As Ford steps out to take a shot with his rifle, Max shoots the rifle out golf his hands. Ford uses his Magnet gun to rip Max’s gun out of his hands, before pocketing the Null Void Projector.
Ford: I’ve got it! Now how do I get out of here in one piece?
Ford looks up and sees a vent on the ceiling.
Ford: Bingo.
As Ford stands to climb the wall, he gets punched in the Jaw by Max, who used the opportunity to get close. The two briefly scuffle, before Ford pulls out his magnet gun again and uses it to leap up to the ceiling and climb into the vent.
Max: I can’t let him get away!
Max runs out of the room.
Ford crawls through the vents before finding another exit and leaping down into a large, dark room.
Ford: Finally, I’ve lost him. Now, where is the nearest exit?
Max: I’ll be happy to show you to the Plumber holding cells.
Ford turns to see The Rustbucket, Max’s souped up RV, barreling towards him. Ford leaps up onto the roof of the rust bucket and jumps down the skylight. He walks up to drivers seat, pulls out his laser pistol, and fires several rounds into it. He then steps closer to reveal that the drivers seat was empty, and the screen on the console flashed the word “Autopilot”. Ford then heard the whir of a laser warming up, and turned to seen Max holding his Anti-Vilgax Cannon.
Max: Now Hold Still.
Max fires. Ford uses the magnet gun to stick up to the ceiling, narrowly dodging the blast, which rips through the windshield. As the blast dies down, the Null Void Projector falls out of Ford’s pocket, activating on impact.
Max: that may have been a mistake.
Ford: you think?
The Null Void Projector shoots out and forms a portal in from of the Rustbucket, sucking it into The Null Void.
in a flash, the entire Rustbucket is transported to the Null Void, and spins out of control as it falls through the red void. After a moment, it lands on one of the floating rocky outcroppings. Max and Ford, both knocked over by the impact, stagger to their feet.
Max: I am too old for this.
Ford: tell me about it.
they then face each other and resume combat. Ford dons his shock gloves, and max pulls on his suits belt buckle, revealing it to be a laser sword. They duel for a moment, eventually making it outside. Max goes for a stab, but Ford dodges to the side and disarms max. With one kick, Ford sends Max off the edge, plummeting into the Null Void. Ford picks up the Null Void Projector.
Ford: I wish it hadn’t been like this, Max. We would have made such good allies.
Max: That ship sailed a long time ago, Ford.
Ford turns to see Max riding on the back of a Null Guardian.
Ford: what? How did you-
Max: let’s just say this isn’t my first time getting stuck here.
Ford attempts to flee but Max pilots the Guardian down and grabs Ford, Taking him into the air. The two duel one last time, each struggling for the Projector. Ford Grabs max by the throat.
Ford: Last chance, Max. Let it go or I finish you off.
Max sighs.
Max. I’m sorry, Stanford.
Max shoulder checks Ford back and raises his arm. A small laser unfolds from the wrist and fires, shooting straight through Ford’s forehead. Ford goes limp and falls off the Guardian, plummeting into the void. Max readies the Null Void Projector, and heads home.
