Superman vs Thor
it’s a normal day in Metropolis. Superman was standing on the roof of the Daily Planet, surveying the city for crime. Suddenly, the Bifrost shoots down behind him, and Thor emerges
Superman: Hello, Who are you?
Thor: Greetings, mortal. I am Thor, God of Thunder
Superman: Welcome to Metropolis, Thor. What brings you here?
Thor: Heimdall told me there was a being here on Midgard that could possibly rival my power, I’ve come here to challenge this warrior to battle.
Superman’s smile fades. He knows where this is going
Superman: that warrior wouldn’t happen to be called Superman, would he?
Thor: Correct. Where might I find him?
Superman: you’re looking at him.
Thor: In such a case. By the laws of Asgard, I challenge you to a fight! Do you accept?
Superman: Sure, I gue-
Superman is cut off by Mjolnir slamming into him. He’s sent flying backwards and steadies himself
Superman: that wasn’t very fair!
Thor: Combat seldom is. Now, have at thee, Superma-
Thor is cut off by a punch from Superman. The two trade several heavy blows. Superman moves back, gaining some distance, before using his heat vision. Thor retaliates with lighting. The two energies clash midair. Superman’s lasers overpower Thor’s lighting and a Thor is send flying back again, crashing into the ground.
Superman: Had enough yet?
Thor: Nay, I am just getting started!
Thor flies up, striking Superman below the chin. He then raises mjolnir above Superman, and let’s go. Mjolnir’s weight causes Superman to fall, crashing through a building all the way to ground level. Thor summons a mighty bolt of lightning that vaporizes the building, before summoning Mjolnir back.
Superman gets up. The magical lightning hurt a bit, but he was fine. He looked around at the destroyed building and then up to Thor
Superman: I think we should take this outside before anything else gets destroyed.
Thor looks around
Thor: what Doth thou mean? Are we not already outsi-
He’s once again cut off by Superman, who punches Thor into outer space
Thor landed hard against the moon. He got up and shook off the impact, looking around. He sees Superman, flying closer
Superman: This is better. Nobody to get in the way.
He punches Thor, sending him flying off into space. Thor catches himself and fires back a bolt of lightning, striking Superman. Superman struggles against the electricity, and fires his heat vision directly at Thor. Thor uses Mjolnir to absorb the incoming energy.
Superman flies in and punches Thor, who blocks. The two trade several blows ending with Superman landing a hard punch to Thor’s jaw. Thor spits out a tooth
Thor: Heimdall did not lie! Your power is so great, you must surely be a God like me!
Superman laughs
Superman: Not at all, I’m just a farm boy from Kansas
Thor: I don’t know what this “Kansas” is, but it must be mighty kingdom for it to create a warrior like you!
They continue fighting, their fight taking them light years away from earth as they destroy uninhabited planets. Eventually, they notice that they are edging closer to a black hole, and Thor gets an idea. He slams Mjolnir into Superman’s head, before throwing him toward the black hole.
Superman is dragged into the event horizon, and starts getting pulled inside.
Superman: no. Not like this.
Superman focuses as he pushes against the gravity of the black hole. He’s able to barely reach out, and grabs Thor, him directly into the Black Hole as well. The duo struggle as they try to push past the gravity. Thor can’t, so he turns and flies directly at the center.
Thor uses Mjolnir to obliterate the center of the black hole, which explodes outwards. As Superman tries to recover from the explosion, Thor grabs him, charging up divine energy.
Thor: FEEL HEAVEN’S WRATH!
He fires a point blank God Blast at Superman.
The God Blast sends Superman spiraling off into space. Thor stops to catch his breath. Then, he notices something.
In the distant cosmos, stars are disappearing. One by one, they’re going out. He focuses his sight, to see Superman flying through each star, absorbing all of their energy. After Superman absorbs dozens of stars, he turns and starts flying towards Thor, glowing red with pure solar energy.
Thor: this is what I’ve been waiting for! A true battle! Have at thee, Champion of Kansas!
Thor flies forward as well, and the two warriors clash. Superman is stronger. He punches Thor, sending him flying thousands of times the speed of light. Superman outspeeds and catches Thor, piledriving him through a planet.
Superman: all my life I’ve lived in a world of cardboard. Everything is so fragile I could break something or someone without even trying. But not now. I get to stop holding back and show you what I really have.
He holds Thor by the throat
Superman: is this what you wanted?
Thor: I wanted a chance to show the Nine Realms what I’m really capable of!
Thor enters his Warriors Madness and Strikes Superman in the face with Mjolnir. Superman let’s go of Thors throat and punches back. The two trade several blows at an unimaginable speed, each strike enough to destroy a planet 1,000 times over.
Thor hurls Mjolnir at Superman, who deflects it with a backhand, sending it shooting off into space. This was his chance. He rushes in and grabs Thor by the throat again
Superman: This is over. I’m sorry.
Superman charges up his solar flare, a mighty explosion that releases all his collected solar energy. Thor tries to summon Mjolnir, if he can just grab it before the explosion, he can absorb it. Mjolnir flies in towards the duo, but Superman catches it.
The Impact cracks the bones in his arm, but he resists, holding Mjolnir just out of Thor’s reach.
Superman: Goodbye.
Thor struggles, barely being able to touch the leather strap, before the solar flare goes off. A massive explosion of red energy that Illuminates the entire galaxy. As the explosion reaches its peak, it begins to withdraw, collapsing in on itself.
Superman, now completely out of energy, floats through the vacuum of space, exhausted. He opens his eyes, expecting to see nothing more than a desolate galaxy, but instead he sees Thor. Thor, holding Mjolnir, absorbs the explosion. He readies one last attack
Thor: Fear not, Superman of Kansas, I am confident Valhalla awaits thee.
With That, Thor strikes Superman in the chest, unleashing an incredible burst of lightning. Superman is vaporized instantly. Thor stops, taking a moment to honor this worthy challenger, before turning back to the stars
Thor: Heimdall, portal.
The Bifrost’s rainbow of energy zips through space, picking up Thor, and carrying him back to Asgard.
The End
